Father God, we just want to thank you for being such a giving, generous God, a God of provision, and for all the blessings you've given this church with the many incredible volunteers that we've had. I pray that you will lean into us as a church, that we will move in your direction, that we will hear from you, Lord. I pray that you will receive all of today's offerings and use them to expand your kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Amen. The book of Acts, chapter 4, verses 23 through 31. On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. Sovereign Lord, they said, you made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them. You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David. Why do the nations rage and the people's plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed one. Indeed, Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen. Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. This is the word of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit is a beautiful day. Don't let it get around. Beautiful day. God's in charge. God's in charge. God's in charge. He's not in charge. As believers, we have two options. There's not a third option. He's kind of in charge, maybe in charge. We will live in a way that we believe that God is in charge. He owns it all. He's in charge of it all. He steers the course of history according to his will. He does what he pleases when he wants, and we're just his servants. Or he's not in charge. If you say he's kind of in charge, and it kind of depends on what the kings of the earth want, which it says, and things of that nature, or what different political parties want, or what's happening in the relationships around your life, that means he's not in charge. And obviously, we have a co-labor. We're going to talk a little bit about just because God's in charge doesn't mean that he doesn't want to actively partner with you and use you when he can, how he can, to get to a destination that he has in his mind that he will get to. God will get to the destination he wants to get to. Whether you are a part of that story, and how closely you identify with God in that story, oftentimes is up to the ifs and the buts in Scripture, those conjunctive words that say, if we're going to do this, if we have holiness. People say, well, how can that be? How can God do something different, and maybe not do it if we don't join in? I've said this over and over again.

We give more credit to Google Maps to reroute us to our destination than we give God the ability to do that. He is God. If he doesn't use you, he can use somebody else, and it doesn't change his sovereignty. That's a key word today. If you have your pen, you're going to put on the top of your notes, I want you to write the word sovereignty. It is one of the most difficult words for me to spell ever. I never get it right. Even with spell check and correction, it's sometimes wrong. That's how bad I am at it. And sometimes I'm also as bad at letting or believing or living in a way that believes that God is in charge of my life, that he has got this, that I do not have to manipulate.

I do not have to scheme. I do not have to gather the forces together in the way that my opinion should go. I just want to be subservient and see myself as a servant, a humble servant of God that is enabled by him, equipped by him to do what he has in mind. This scripture says that. What I love about this scripture is the church is shown in Acts chapter 4 with a response. What's the response? A man has been healed. We spent five weeks on this. A man was healed. Peter and John were the conduits of that healing. God healed him. And then, you know, all hell broke loose and they were brought up on charges.

And eventually they had to be released by the Sanhedrin and the different people. We knew that it was the Sadducees that had gotten them together. We talked about that. And then they come back to the people, to the church, the congregation. And the congregation had a response. And that response can easily be overlooked in scripture. You can look at this response and be like, oh, cool. They're celebrating. Obviously, they didn't get acquitted. You know, they, excuse me, they were acquitted on the charges. They were let go. They threatened them, you know. And then the church just has a nice little, you know, we have a little word. We're happy about it. We thank God for it. You would miss so much incredible theology and doctrine and truth of God's word if we just see this as a little response by the church. It is resplendent with the sovereignty of God. It is resplendent with the idea that God is in charge and nothing can stop God from doing what he wants and when he wants to do it. I've used the word sovereignty. I'm going to give a definition of this word. I put it in a theological context.

Sovereignty often refers to the ultimate authority and control of God over the universe, all of creation, emphasizing that God's will is supreme and all-encompassing. There's one point today in regard to this sovereignty, and I really want to get you in touch with this idea. The more you live with an idea of the doctrinal truth that God is in charge of it all, he's got you, he loves you, he wants to work in your favor as we partner with him and invite him into our lives, the more faith you will live with and the more peace you will live with. You will understand that you do not need to chase your purpose down like it's some elusive thing. God has the purposes and plans for your life. He will be patient and he will wait and sometimes put us on pause. Some people actually never get to the purpose that God has for them because they're disobedient, and I don't understand how that always works, but I know that if we are submitting our lives to God and saying you are in charge, you do not need to chase your purpose in life. Your purpose will come, it'll chase you down, and it'll lay at your feet. And if you understand that God, you're sovereign, you are in charge, you're in charge at all. This is something that the first church understood as they spoke this, these verses. So I wrote this. I put for the first point, my God, circle my God, is in active control, circle active control of all that he owns. There are three small points within that statement that are important. You could easily say God is in charge of it all, and that's an impersonal statement, right? A lot of people believe there's a universe or a life force or a cosmological power Bible is clear that we serve a personal God. He cares about you deeply. He wants to be involved with you. He wants to dance your dance, sing your song. He wants to sing his song through you. He created you for a certain way with desires and hopes, and he wants to be part of that. But ultimately, the thing he wants most is to make you more like him and to be close to you. He's interested in the purpose and the things that you do, but he wants that to happen. So the key, though, is this, seeing yourself as having a God who cares about you. So when you say this statement, which I'm going to encourage you to memorize, when we think about the sovereignty of God, the early church, when they said, when they speak, it is my God, our God, our Lord. So the first thing is this, is that it is my God is in active control. Now there's a sense, and you're going to see as we dive into this, of in the first church that when God is in control, he's not deistic. Now if you've ever studied deism, deism is this concept, a theological concept, I believe it's heretical, that believed that God, like a top, would spin the top, get it going, put it on the ground, created the world with everything it needed, all the power, all the wisdom, all the reason, and then he just stepped out. There's no more divine revelation, he doesn't step into the affairs of mankind, he doesn't speak and give words, he just kind of lets it go. That's called deism. It is antithetical to scripture, and antithetical, as you'll see, to how God is empowering people when they acknowledge his sovereignty. That's the key thing. All these things you're going to see that God brings to your doorstep, that he empowers you and equips you with, happen after you do one thing, that you acknowledge his sovereignty. Go to verse 24.

When they heard this, what did they hear? When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. That's the first time it says God. Sovereign Lord, they said. So they address him there in a second terminology. They said, you made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them. He goes on to speak in verse 25 about the Holy Spirit and equipping and empowering and doing these different things. Here's what's key. They're using a couple terms for God. In verse 24, go back again.

When they heard this, what did they hear? That God had done something. That God had released these two men from the bind that they were in. All the, you know, everything was against them. It looked like the powers of the entire governance, all the religious leaders, everyone that had power was against these. And these were the same leaders that had helped crucify Jesus Christ. So you have to imagine that Peter and John thought, we might be getting crucified right now. The church thought, we just saw if Jesus got crucified, it's not a far reach to think that Peter and John would be crucified. When God rescued them, and he rescues believers all throughout Acts in different ways, when he rescued them, the church sang a hallelujah. The church spoke up and they raised their voices together in prayer. Let me give a little quick caveat real quick before we move on. When God does something in your life, speak up about it.

Testify about it. Give him praise. Say, God, you are so good. Become a person who praises God regularly. Lift up your voice. I was walking with one of my daughters this last week, and as we were walking, she said, you know, I'm just so thankful for, look at the blue sky. Look at the green. Look at the green on the plants. Look at the ocean. Feel the breeze. I'm like, yes. That is the spirit you want to give praise. And when things like this happen, the church shouts out and prays. God is moving in our church. You can see it. You can feel it. If you can't feel it, you don't have a pulse, okay? You can see it around you, in between the services and the spirit of God and people coming forward for prayer.

We want to give praise for that. So that's just the key. That's just a little caveat that I see there. And it says that, as you look at it, verse 24, when they heard this, they raised their voices together to God. Now, it could have just stopped there and said to God, and then this is what they said. But after mentioning God in the scripture, they go on to give him a title. And that title in the Greek is a Greek word, is despotes. And it means sovereign Lord. It means one who is in control. Now, this is also where the term despot comes from. Now, that is a bit pejorative. God, obviously, in the modern understanding, despot is like a dictator or something like that. But in this understanding, in the Greek, despotes means owner. It means someone who is sovereign and in charge of everything.

I want to give you a scriptural truth. You own nothing. You don't own your house. You don't own your car. You don't own your land, even though you have a deed to it, perhaps. You do not own your health. You do not own your life. You do not own your breath. You own nothing. We own nothing, okay? God owns it all. Everything. The best we can hope for is to be faithful servants that co-labor with him in what he owns and what he has been gracious enough to give us stewardship over.

Because at any moment, if God wants to, he can just do this. Any moment, and it's gone. When we start to clutch our pearls, when we hang on to that shiny thing, when we connive, when we scheme, when we do these things to hold on, we begin to think that we've got a little clout, a little bit of power. It doesn't take but a moment for us to all of a sudden get into that place one percent further than our control is, you know, has ability to control.

And all of a sudden, we're crying out to God. And God allows us to get into those places. I would say the best thing to do is to continually say to the Lord, I'm a servant of God. Everything I have is yours. My money is yours. My health is yours. My children are yours. Everything is yours. I'm just a servant. And if you tell me to get up at two in the morning and fetch you a glass of water, I will get up at two in the morning, fetch you a glass of water, and ask you if you want another one. That is where we need to be as believers. Because when we're at that place, life gets a lot easier. God, these are your finances. If you have a financial issue, you have something in your business, or you get brought up on false charges. Actually, they were real charges.

They proclaimed Jesus as king, and they healed somebody, right? That you stand there in front of the powers to be that can take you down. You can say, God, you've got this. It's all yours. I just did what you told me to do as your servant. That is living in despotes. That is living in an idea that he is a sovereign Lord. And it also releases you. I mean, I would say one of the spiritual elixirs this week for me, as his different things began to happen, or different things in the world, you know, the world that I see in politics, or just in my own life. I'm like, oh, I can kind of control that.

How am I going to control this? How am I going to control that? I thought, you know, I don't need to control anything. God, you're in charge. It's all yours. Nothing can stop what you want to do. And nothing can make happen what you don't want to happen. See that over and over again. I would say to the political, you know, people that are highly into the political narratives that change every single two days. The scripture is very clear that God, no one is in leadership, the scripture says, unless God put them there. It also says he put them there for two reasons. One, to bless us, or two, to punish us, or to give us what we deserve. Those are the two reasons. The best you can do is to pray. And if we humble ourselves and pray, as it says in Chronicles, and we cry out to God, he will heal our land. God's in charge. He's completely sovereign. He's completely sovereign in front of everything that we do in our life. Not only is he despotes, he's not a deist. He is a deity, but he's not a deist. And what I mean by that is he is in active control. Watch what God does with people who see him as sovereign in their life. There's about six, seven different, let me see, one, two, three, four, five, six different things that you see that you could miss just reading this scripture. If you read this scripture, oh, what a nice little prayer. It's awesome. No, there is a systematic theology of how the Holy Spirit partners, collaborates, and equips believers that are on the understanding that God is sovereign, and they want to partner with him. Let's go to the first one. Go to verse 24. We see that God is active in the making. Verse 24. When they heard this, they raised their voice together. Sovereign Lord, they said, you made the heavens, the earth, and everything in them. This is a proclamation that there is nothing that is made that you have not made. They said also in the making, he's also in the speaking. One of the things, so if you go to verse 25, you spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David.

Why do the nations rage? We'll talk about that in a second. I love what Elliot said last week. He said, when you go and you're sharing the word of God with people, you're sharing your testimony, don't worry about what you're going to say. And then he had that, remember that other point? Or how you're going to say it. The scripture says he will tell you what, and he will tell you how. He will also tell you when. One of the things I like is when we speak, especially when we speak the word of God, words are creative, right? Words have the power, it says in the scripture, of life and death.

Not only did God make it, but how did he make it? He made it through speaking. He said, let there be light, and there was light. Let the earth be separated. Let there, let there, let there. God is not only making, he is speaking, and as he speaks, he is creating. And he didn't stop creating paths in the desert for the Israelites. He will make paths in the desert open for you in your life. He didn't stop creating when he said, let there be light. He is creating pathways for you right now for the things that you want to collaborate with him, the things that you want to partner with him. And you need not worry whether those things will happen or not happen if they are his plan. My daughter has a thing she hates. And she says to me, mostly Lucy will say this, but both of them don't like it. Because my daughter Lucy loves asking me these questions. Like we'll be driving and she'll say something like, how much do you think a postman makes? I'm like, I don't know how much a postman makes. Why ask me that question? I don't know. She'll ask me these questions. And so she'll ask me these questions. She'll go, you know, what do you think the odds are that, you know, and she'll give me this thing. And I'll always say, 100% or zero? And she'll say, what? She doesn't like it. No, give me a percentage. I'm like, if it's God's will, 100%. There's nothing you can do to stop it. And if he doesn't want it, it's zero. If he wants to get it done. Now, he might not use me or he might. Like I said earlier, we give more credit to Google Maps to reroute us in a direction and get us to a destination than we give God. God has the ability to get done what he wants and move you in and out of it according to your obedience and his plan. God is like that. And so we see that happening here in the scripture.

In the speaking, God is creating and he's creating ways for you. So we have an act of God. The first thing you see is he's making, he's speaking. Verse 27, in the anointing. Indeed, Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in the city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. God has anointed us with his presence. You are an anointed people.

If you read the book of Samuel, Samuel comes and he takes his horn of oil and they bring King David up. And then back in the day, we had these little oil things there. We'll anoint you after the service. We just, we kind of do it in a little new school, right? We just kind of touch you with that oil, right? They had a horn and it'd be full of oil. Don't get next to the flame if you get anointed by Samuel, okay? Pour it all on your head. You are anointed, just dripping. There's that scripture, you know, it says, you know, blessed are, you know, blessed are those brothers when they unite in, when they're in unity. It is like oil that is dripping from the beard of Aaron, I think.

Just as dripping, you're just dripping. I say all the time, you know, if you're dressed up these days, they say you got some drip, you know what I'm saying? The Holy Spirit wants to anoint you and has anointed you. And he anoints us also in the going, right? Sometimes you're anointed as you start going. So we see that. Next we see in the enabling, verse 29. Verse 29 says, now Lord, consider the threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.

God is enabling. He's giving you the ability to do something that you obviously can't do on your own. I think we're in some of the best spiritual territory when we're operating about 3% outside of our ability. I'm not saying 150. I'm not saying 100, you know, I'm not saying like get so far out there. I mean, sometimes God does call us to do that. But just, I got to go, just the next level. I just, God, level me up a little bit. And it says that God will enable you and he will equip you.

The best analogy I can think of is the matrix. Remember when Keanu wanted some kung fu, right? If you saw the matrix and they just take that thing and they plugged it into the back of him and they just download it. All of a sudden he's like kung fu master, you know? That is how the Holy Spirit works. He gives gifts. Bible says that God gives everyone at least one gift. I think Phil said that in the first service. He gives everyone at least one gift. But it does not say that he will stop giving you gifts. If you pray for more gifts, God can give you more gifts. I would encourage you to look at what the gifts of the Spirit are, the fruit of the Spirit, and begin to ask God to equip you with more. Say, God, I don't have a gift of administration. Give me a gift of administration.

I don't have a gift of evangelism. Give me a gift of evangelism. Begin to ask to whom it's faithful with a little bit, more will be given. So now we see that in the midst of this, God is making things. He's speaking things through his word. He's anointing. He's enabling. And then he's filling. Verse 31. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. That word filling, we know, right, that this wasn't the original filling. So what does that mean? I said it two weeks ago. That word filling actually means fulfilled. These believers in Acts chapter 2, the Holy Spirit had already come.

When you are filled with the Spirit, I use the analogy, it's like you have a car in the driveway, and you take the car out of the driveway and go for a drive. There are moments where it is a fulfilling of the Holy Spirit. Now there are times where people are filled for the first time with the presence of God and the Spirit. But it says here that it is actually fulfilled, and you see that fulfilling. And the final one that you're going to see is in the emboldening. And I love this one.

Verse 31. And that then they spoke the word of God boldly. I was in Reading in England in 2001. God was speaking. And we were there with about, I had about 20 high school kids that I had taken on this trip. And we were doing missions work. And so we're in Reading. It's a city like London, not far away. And it was a Saturday, and they said, we're going to have missions day. We're all going to come do different projects. And so they had them all listed on the board. And they had, you know, go to this lady's house, and we're going to put roses in for this widow. And oh, that sounds really nice. It's very Christian. I want to put some roses in. Do a little rose. That's nice. Sounds good.

And then we're going to go paint a school. And then we're going to go pick up trash. And they had all these cool ones. I'm like, oh, that's so nice. It sounds so easy. And then they had one that said crosswalking. And I had a feeling they weren't going to teach us how to walk across the street. I had a feeling that they were going to ask me to put a cross on my back and walk around the neighborhood because I'd seen other Christians do it before. And I thought, that's what weird Christians do. And I don't really want to be a weirdo Christian. So I thought, I'm not signing up for that. And I felt this little knock on my heart. And the Holy Spirit's like, and just so you know, I had positioned myself because I said, you can sign up. There's only so many spots. So you can sign up afterwards for one of these spots. But once they're filled, they'll be filled. And then, so I had positioned myself.

Next to the board. Because I was going to get up really quick and put in roses for the widow. Because that's where Adam wanted to be. And so then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, no, I want you to sit here and wait until everyone signs. And then you can put your name on last. And I was like, oh, sovereign Lord. Where are you going to put me? You're going to, you know. So I wait. I walk up there.

There's one spot. Crosswalking. Yes, crosswalking. Like, oh. So they said, okay, 10 o'clock tomorrow, I'll show up. So I show up to the church courtyard. It's all there. It's in the middle of the city, like in the middle of London. And their guy walks up. And he's got this box. And he opens up the box. And he pulls out this cross. It's about eight, nine feet hall. He puts some wheels on the bottom of it because you want to roll the cross a lot easier. I didn't know this. And so he puts it together.

And he's all right. We're going to pray. And then who's going to be the first to start walking with the cross? And I felt like the Holy Spirit said, that's you. And I was like, oh, no, not me. And I was, and I, so I raised my hand. I'm like, I think it's me. And he goes, yeah, the Holy Spirit, I think the Spirit told me it was you. I said, oh, great. Thank you. That's amazing. So I get the cross.

And I think I'm just going to be cool. I'm just going to carry it like this, right? I'm going to carry it like this. And I might as well just, maybe I'm going to a play on Jesus and I'm just carrying the props, you know, or something like that. And I felt the Holy Spirit say, put that on your shoulder. And so the guy says to me, he goes, you know, we usually carry it on our shoulder like our Lord carried it. I'm like, I know who the Lord is. I know the story. So I'm like, okay. So I put it on my shoulder. And I'm like, I'm not wanting to do this. So they open the gate. I step across the threshold like this. And I look up and there's a church across the street, because lots of churches in England, I see this cross on the top and the Holy Spirit speaks to my heart. And I get this thought.

And when I say that, I mean, I just get a thought. And the thought was this, they've stopped seeing that one and noticing it. They're going to notice this one. And at the moment I crossed the threshold, I have to tell you, a sense of God's presence entered my body in such a powerful way that I wanted to walk to Botswana at that point. And for the next year and a half, I had an ability to share with boldness the scripture, the word of God in a way that I had never, it was just bam, through that faithfulness and through that sovereignty and through that boldness. You see when you make God sovereign and you say, I'm just here to carry water for you. I'm just, you know, I say all the regular time, I'm just, you know, I'm willing to clean the toilets, you know, for Jesus.

I'll just be the janitor here if you want me to be the janitor. I don't care. I don't care. If I have to get into the sewers, I don't care what I have to do for Jesus. I don't need to be the head pastor. Whatever Jesus wants me to do. And I have found the few moments where I've been able to do that in my life, and they're few and far between it feels like, God has been so faithful. And this is what the church is doing. He's emboldening and he's empowering. And it is from this place that the church goes out and they change the world because of this actual story. I put that God's not a deadbeat owner. And when it comes to your life, here's a little statement I came up with. It says, if God can juggle the galaxies and thwart the schemes of nations, he can surely manage your Monday.

If God can juggle the galaxies, he can thwart the schemes of the nation, he can manage your Monday. He's in charge of it all. He cares about it more than you care about it. You don't have to worry about it. Even if it doesn't go the way you want it, you don't need to worry about it. God is in complete control. I have a couple takeaways for you this week. And the first one is this, to really get to memorize this saying. My God, and that's important, is in active control of all that he owns.

My God is in active control of all that he owns. This week, numerous times, get a little stressed, think about it, and then how would I scheme this, scheme that. We're schemers, right? We tend to scheme. Schemers. That's what the world does. They connive, they conspire, they scheme. Believers never need to scheme, ever. You just need to ask and wait or do what he tells you. Never need to scheme. My God is in active control of all that he owns. And then the next thing I have is back this belief up with God's word. I Google searched verses on the sovereignty of God. 140 came up. I just came to the first two that I thought were really good. Here's one out of Daniel. All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and all the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him, what have you done? This is restated a little more pithy in Psalm 115 3. Our God is in heaven. He does whatever pleases him. Full stop. Our God's in heaven. You're not. He can do what he wants with his creation. He can do what he wants. Don't who asked the potter what he's going to do with the clay. He's in charge. He's in charge of everything you own. You don't own it. Let him have it.

Tell him that you're willing to just serve him. And we see this next week. All of a sudden, they just start releasing their possessions to help each other and to help others in the world. It's amazing how that caused them to live. Final story as we close. George Mueller was a really famous believer who started orphanages in England. And he started out in Germany as a non-Christian who would make fun of believers. And finally, one of his friends said, come to Bible study. And he got enthralled and raptured with the Word of God. Loved the Word of God. Began to read it. Decided he wanted to give his life for God. And he felt called to do whatever God asked him to do, but never to ask for any kind of sustenance. He never asked for money to be given to his organization, whatever. He just said, I'm going to just believe in God. This is the road that God had called him to. Not all people do that. We know that Paul goes and asks for money. So this is a one thing about one person. It's not a one-time rule for everybody. But he wouldn't ask. And he started this orphanage. And he got to the point where he had 300 orphans. And there was no food one day. And he said to the woman who was there, the headmaster or the woman, he said, hey, gather the 300 children. Have them sit at the table, the dinner table. I'm going to come in and pray for the meal. But we don't have any food. How can you pray for the meal? He said, I'm going to pray for the meal that God's going to provide. So he got the children there and he began to pray. And he said, God, would you please provide? We need you. You will, you love your children. Would you provide? And he said, amen. And all of a sudden, heard a knock on the door.

Opened up and there was a baker there with loaves of bread. And he said, I couldn't sleep all night. I kept having dreams and I kept getting woken up with nightmares and dreams. And he said, you have to go feed the children. You have to go take this. And he goes, so I took all my bread that I was going to make for business today and I brought it here. He said, that's amazing. That's amazing.

Thank you so much. He took the bread in. But he says, Lord, we don't have milk. And so he began to pray. All of a sudden, there's a knock on the door. True story. Knock on the door. Guess who? Yeah, milkman. Yeah, milkman. Yeah, exactly. And he says, my cart with all of its milk is broken down in front of your store today, in front of your orphanage. And it's going to go bad because it's going to be a hot day. And I just need to give it to you. And here's a little picture we had made of this scene with George Mueller praying for the sovereignty of God to provide all of his needs and to provide needs for those that he's partnering with. He has been enabled. He has been equipped. He has been anointed. God has spoken words over him. God has made a way. God has made a path. And God wants to do that in your life if you want to partner with him as sovereign Lord. And let him know that you believe he is who he said he is. God's got this. Let's stand if you would. We're asking Danny to come forward.

We're going to do one more song. If you need prayer today, we want to pray for you. God has been doing miracles up here at the front as we've been praying for people and seeing God move. This is going to sing and then I'll come back and release you guys. Come forward for prayer. If you've never made a decision to follow Jesus, we want to lead you to Jesus. We want to see you know Jesus. We want to see you be discipled, be baptized, and walk in the faith as the anointed, as the anointed children of God.

Danny, lead us away. All hail King Jesus. All hail Lord of heaven and earth. All hail King Jesus. All hail the Savior of heaven and earth. All hail King Jesus. Come on, let's go. Come on, let's go. All hail the Lord of heaven and earth. All hail King Jesus. All hail the Savior of the world. Come on, if you feel it in your heart, if you feel that tugging, I ask that you may just be obedient to that, come forward and receive prayer, or even press into worship.

God, we're here, God, to be obedient and listen to you, Jesus. Yes, Lord. O say, I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. ., I like-I I like. of the world. Oh, hail King Jesus, we lift you up. Oh, hail the Lord of heaven and earth. Oh, hail King Jesus.

Oh, hail the Savior of the Lord. Let every knee bow before the King of kings. Let every tongue confess that He is loyal. Lift up your shout. Let us join with all of heaven. Sing it holy. We're singing holy. We cry out holy. We're singing holy. Just as we're closing, I just felt like one of the things the Lord said was, some of you have been worried about your children, and God's saying, give your children up.

When I was out on drugs, my mom was chasing me down in PB. I was 19 years old. She's following me around until one day the Lord said, Adam's mine. He's not yours. Let me be in charge. God freed her from worry and fear. God's got your children. Even God's children rebelled. So don't take the shame. I'm a horrible parent. Even God's children rebelled.

Your business. Some of you are struggling with your businesses. Give it to God. Finances. Your health. We're going to partner with God on these things, but give it to Him. Let Him be sovereign. Let me just extend your hands. I want to pray for you, Lord Jesus. I pray for your people, God. Thank you for those that are coming forward to be prayed for, who need to give their lives and everything they think they own to you.

We ask for a spirit of surrender, a spirit of power, enabling, equipping, anointing, courage, emboldening over all of us, Lord God, that this church would continue to grow, God, in the faith, that you would protect us, God, from the schemes of the enemy. We pray over you, and we just bless you now as you go out today. In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Amen. We love you. If you need prayer, come forward. Go outside for a hot dog. Join our volunteer team. We love you guys. We'll keep worshiping for just a little bit more.
