“PJim” values SCC people from preschoolers to seniors through teaching, resourcing and caring. With 40+ years in pastoral ministry (10+ here), he’s still passionate about fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commandment to center life on the love of God & neighbor (Mark 12:30-31; I Peter 4:10).

An SDSU & Bethel Seminary grad, his Harvard doctoral studies focused on Church History/Theology and spiritual formation. Discussions welcome!

Besides SCC ministries, “Dr. J” teaches locally at Pacific Theological Seminary – and in Atlanta & Minnesota – with time for writing/speaking projects including baseball history (Go Padres!). He and wonderful wife Linda live near  beautiful Lake Murray and cherish three children + a swirl of grandchildren 🙂
