Moses asks to see God’s glory and is put in the cleft of a rock. Pastor Adam traces glory from something rare, restricted and risky, through the incarnation, to something a believer is now invited to host rather than merely behold.

The bush burns for some time before anyone speaks — God calls only when he sees Moses has gone over to look. Pastor Adam builds on an invitation that was conditional on curiosity, and asks what we walk past because investigating would cost us time.
